XR Valley Community Manager

Job description

We are looking for a qualified Community manager to join our team! If you are a self-driven and ambitious tech-savvy person we would love to meet you! We are expecting you to be experienced in community management, communication campaigns and social media. Ultimately, you should be able to act as the community contact point of our brand and manage all community communications.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Set, plan, and implement social media (mostly LinkedIn) and communication campaigns and strategies

  • Provide engaging text, image, and possibly video content for all social media and professional accounts

  • Respond to our community promptly

  • Provide and guard brand guidelines for content creation of community achievements and events

  • Coordinate with XR Valley Hubs community managers for local dissemination 

  • Liaise with Events, Members, and Hubs teams to help them reach our community

  • Build relationships with our members, industry professionals, and partnering organisations 

  • Stay up-to-date with XR technology trends

  • Manage the website content (on Squarespace) 

Requirements

  • Based in Belgium. Although most work is remote, sporadic community events where your attendance is preferred are in Belgium

  • Proven work experience as a community manager or similar role

  • Ability to identify and track relevant community KPIs 

  • Excellent verbal communication skills in English, Dutch and French

  • Excellent writing skills in English, Dutch and French

  • Hands-on experience with social media management and email marketing

  • Ability to interpret website traffic

  • Knowledge of online marketing 

  • Attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solver

  • Available approximately 8-16 hours per month minimum, this can grow over time (workload).
